Zion Episcopal Church was pleased to host a “drive thru” retirement celebration, giving all those interested an opportunity to acknowledge & honor Rose Perfect Lewis for her 24 years of service as Parish Administrator.
A thank you from Rose:
"I am so grateful to Fr. Ian, Kristin, the Vestry, and helpers for including the drive thru retirement celebration for me in the Easter Sunday festivities.
What a beautiful morning of worship via Zoom, followed by Emma and Jon Comeau and Marguerite Mason greeting people as they arrived with yummy baked treats to support Zion community outreach, and then our first virtual communion using communion kits consecrated and given out by Fr. Ian and then seeing so many smiling faces as people drove up to my station, beautifully decorated with gorgeous flowers, celebratory ballons, and a lovely and loving word cloud tribute print framed and displayed--thank you to Christina Nichols, Lily of the Valley Nursery, and of course, Kristin Comeau for her fabulous organizational and technological skills.
I am truly blessed and honored to receive so many affirmations, well wishes, good advice, cards, flowers, treats, and the loving presence of each person. I keep all of you in my prayers.
With love, and in Christ,
For those not able to participate last Sunday, note cards are still available, addressed to Rose, for good wishes, thanks, and remembrances of her many years of service to our parishes & community.
If you would like a note card, please email email@example.com with your mailing address OR pick-up at the curb-side table at Zion!
