Blessing of the Animals on October 5th at Zion's 10 am service

Our annual Blessing of the Animals service will take place on Sunday, October 5th at 10 am.

Bring your furry friend, a picture of your beloved pet, or your child's favorite stuffed animal to be blessed during the service. All dogs must be on leashes, and all cats should be in carriers. That day, we will have a donation bin for dog and cat food in the Narthex for distribution through Manchester Food Cupboard for those who are struggling who have pets. (If you prefer your worship service without fur, please join us at 8 am.)

A special thanks to Kathy, Dom, Scarlet (w/ her pet dog Clark), Sue, Tracy, Sharon and Ross! They baked over 400 doggie biscuits last week and shared their bounty with First Congregational Church. All leftovers will go to Second Chance animal shelter.
